Virginia is an experienced estate planning attorney with a passion for helping others.

She works with clients and their families to plan for their future and beyond. Creating family harmony and long-term security for all is the ultimate goal. She has worked with hundreds of clients and gained an understanding of many different solutions for a multitude of family situations.

Recognizing that every client’s situation is unique, Virginia, in her Estate Planning practice, assists clients and families plan for incapacity and death and carry out those plans through Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Wills, Revocable Trusts and, where appropriate, Irrevocable Trusts, as well as accompanying documents to put these plans in place.

Additionally, Virginia works with clients regarding other assets which are not typically controlled by estate planning documents such as life insurance benefits and retirement plans to determine the best way to pass these assets to a client’s heirs. She also coordinates with a client’s other advisors to align the beneficiary designations and titling of accounts with the estate plan she puts in place.

When family circumstances change or when the unforeseeable occurs, Virginia works with families in the modification or decanting of Irrevocable trusts.

Virginia has worked both as a Corporate Trustee and Personal Representative, as well as the Attorney preparing the estate plan. Virginia’s prior experience working in the trust departments of two local banks for 4 and ½ years provides her with additional insight regarding how estate plans are carried out and the best practices for structuring them.
